From September 2021, the Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie (University Bachelor of Technology (B.U.T)) will become the reference diploma for IUTs.
The University Bachelor of Technology (B.U.T) "QLIO" program trains university technology bachelors (bac + 3), who can enter any business sector (cosmetics, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, electronics, agri-food, healthcare, service companies, banking, humanitarian aid, etc.).
This University Bachelor of Technology (B.U.T) program is particularly well suited to management and team leadership roles in companies, with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction.

Skills
The Bachelor's degree holder in this specialization is capable, whatever the sector of activity in which he or she works: of carrying out one or more activities to steer the production process for goods and services, with the aim of improving the performance of this process in terms of cost, quality and lead times, in order to meet the requirements of internal or external customers.
To assume these responsibilities, technicians must acquire skills that enable them to:-implement the appropriate methods and tools;-operate the resources implemented and the associated information systems;-check the conformity of the results of the associated processes;-measure the activity and its performance;-contribute to the continuous improvement of the activity and its performance.

Program
The 4-semester program is open to students with a baccalaureate (or equivalent) in science or economics. 30% of the course is taught by professionals from the business world.
1,800 hours of training, i.e. an average of 30 hours a week.
Teaching sessions are divided into 20% lectures, 40% tutorials and 40% practical work.
Case studies, group work, digital communication technologies (self-service computers with network and Internet access). Tutored projects (real-life study of a new product launch, market research, business plan, industrialization, etc.).
Internship: 3 weeks in semester 1 and a minimum of 9 weeks in semester 4.
Personal and Professional Project (PPP): individual monitoring of students' aptitudes and career aspirations.

Holders of a DUT QLIO have a proven ability to adapt to the job and integrate into project teams.
