University Bachelor of Technology (B.U.T) Génie Electrique et Informatique Industrielle (GEII) is a national university diploma leading to a Bachelor's degree (Bac+3).
The program includes lectures, tutorials, practical work, supervised and independent group work, as well as several internships. The program is also open to apprentices from the second year onwards.
Objectives
Dive into the heart of innovation with :
- a university education combining fundamental teaching (mathematics, physics, English, communication), electrical engineering and industrial systems IT
- expert, professional training, with teaching and industrial projects (more than 600 hours over the three years)
A practical experience developed by :
- internships: a minimum of 22 weeks over the three years, in France or abroad
- participation in competitions: Fanuc, Xplore, Mon projet en 5 minutes...
- events organized throughout the academic year: Fête de la Science, alumni meetings, ski week, etc.
Skills
The University Bachelor of Technology (B.U.T) GEII program enables students to acquire skills in a variety of fields:
- install and manage electrical installations
- design, build, program and maintain fixed or embedded electronic boards
- control and command of automated systems
- manage and maintain industrial IT networks...

First common year

From the second year onwards, part of the curriculum depends on the specialization chosen: Electricity and Energy Management or Automatism and Industrial Computing .
In the second year, it is also possible to spend a semester abroad (Ireland).

Third year: more in-depth courses, depending on the course and options chosen in the second year
Internships abroad (Belgium, Canada, Spain, Mexico, Romania, Norway, etc.).

Selection by dossier.
The selection committee decides on applications in June, subject to passing the baccalauréat.
Open to general, technological and vocational baccalaureates. Particular attention is paid to assessments and grades in scientific subjects (mathematics, physics, etc.).
