Presentation
The University of Orléans offers a "Social Dialogue" DU
for all those involved in social dialogue (company directors,
lawyers, HRDs and HRMs, employee representatives and
union representatives). The courses are taught by academics
and professionals with experience of social dialogue, with a strong emphasis
on real-life situations.
Social dialogue is taking on a new role within the company.
A traditional tool for improving working conditions
and negotiating pay, it is now
also a lever for corporate strategy, serving
performance and CSR. It enables us to anticipate
and support organizational changes and
job evolution. It is a tool for
improving quality of life in the workplace, and for meeting the challenges of
society (non-discrimination, equality, personal life -
professional life).
Social dialogue cannot be invented. It is co-constructed by
social dialogue players. It requires all
players, whether company managers, HR directors or
staff and union representatives, to know and
understand the issues at stake in social dialogue, and the
economic and legal environment in which it develops. The ability to
listen, exchange views, negotiate and respect
the other party is essential to the short and long-term success of social dialogue.
.
