The Diplôme universitaire d'études françaises level B2 program aims to reinforce students' linguistic autonomy by giving them the tools to intervene with ease in most discussions, to write all kinds of documents (letters, reports, stories) quite naturally, to appreciate simple literary texts and to monitor the grammatical and lexical accuracy of their own production in French to avoid most errors.

Competency-based learning objectives
- Listening comprehension: Understand an authentic document in its entirety and in detail. Know how to take notes during an oral intervention so as to be able to reproduce the key points.
- Reading comprehension: Understand informative or argumentative texts in general and in detail. Perceive common cultural references and allusions. Analyze various types of writing, including literary texts: nature of the text, organization of content, author's intentions.
- Oral expression: Develop a well-argued point of view on a wide range of subjects. Respond and react to requests from an interlocutor in a discussion on a concrete or more abstract subject.
- Written expression: Recount events in detail. Express a point of view on social issues in a precise, well-argued manner. Familiarize yourself with academic writing.

Program
The hourly volume is 228 hours (19 hours/week).
French for writing, French for speaking, cultures and societies, and a choice of 2 courses (preparation for university studies/French for professional life, cultural panorama/language practices).
Admission
Admission requirements
The minimum level required is a baccalaureate or secondary school leaving certificate. All fields of training are accepted.
In the French language, students must be able to prove that they have acquired a B1 level at the time of application.
