In addition to the language requirements of level B2, students at level C1 will learn to master the "academic" skills of giving a well-structured presentation, taking notes and writing complex argumentative texts.
He will affiner his reading and listening comprehension to be able to perceive implicit elements, grasp allusions and appreciate stylistic effects.
They'll be able to follow a French-language film, for example, without too much difficulty, without the diversity of accents or colloquial expressions being an obstacle to comprehension.

Competency-based learning objectives
- Listening comprehension: Understand a long authentic document in its entirety and in detail. Take notes during an oral intervention afin order to write a detailed report.
- Reading comprehension: Understand complex informative or argumentative texts, both in general and in detail. Perceive cultural references and allusions, even implicit ones. Know how to analyze finement various types of writing, including literary, classical or contemporary.
- Oral expression: Develop an argumentative point of view on a wide range of subjects in a natural, well-constructed way. React naturally, spontaneously and effictively to an interlocutor's requests in a discussion.
- Written expression: Write a text of personal inspiration within stylistic constraints. Develop a structured, well-argued personal position in an academic essay.

Program
The hourly volume is 248 hours, including an observation internship of 20 hours (21 hours/week + internship).
Written French, spoken French, cultures and societies, 1 course of your choice (preparation for university studies/French for professional life, cultural panorama/language practices), individual project (workshops and follow-up of the project to resume studies or return to work), integration into the social or socio-professional fabric (internship/volunteering/career survey) and component courses.
Admission
Admission requirements
This course is reserved exclusively for students in exile upon justification of this status (asylum seeker, beneficiary of subsidiary or temporary protection, refugeé).
The minimum level required is the baccalaureate or a certificat of fin of secondary studies. All fields of training are accepted.
In the French language, students must be able to demonstrate an acquired B2 level at the time of application.
