Objectives

This course prepares students for entry into the MEEF 1er degré master's program, and is aimed at future students whose career plan is to become schoolteachers. It is open to all new baccalaureate holders; however, given that it is based on the Life Sciences bachelor's degree, it is recommended that students have taken courses in this subject in high school and, more generally, that they have an interest in experimental science.

This program is built in partnership with the Lycée Voltaire d'Orléans, with a gradual move towards a university curriculum. Over the three years, half the courses are taught at the University of Orléans, and the other half at the Lycée Voltaire d'Orléans, with 75% of first-year courses taught at the Lycée Voltaire d'Orléans.

This "multi-disciplinary" course includes French, math, science and history-geography.

Successful completion of the first year of the Bachelor's degree in this pathway requires mastery of the knowledge and skills acquired in high school in all these disciplines, adaptability to a training program taking place at both high school and university, and a commitment on the part of the future student to his or her chosen study project.
