The aim of the Professional Degree legal activities: public procurement - public purchasing professions (LPMP) is to train lawyers specialized in public procurement in a mixed (public and private) and open (secondary and tertiary) sector. Career prospects are immediate.
Graduates of this course can be recruited by public bodies (central or decentralized administrations, public establishments, local authorities, inter-municipal structures) or by private companies (public works, insurance, etc.) as assistant to the public procurement or public order department, public procurement manager, editor, legal assistant, buyer, or to join a law firm or consultancy, or to apply for recruitment to local authorities through a competitive examination or contract.

The holder of this diploma is a lawyer specialized in public procurement. In this field, he or she is versatile. Their work covers both the preparation and execution of contracts awarded by public and private bodies in the secondary and tertiary sectors.
On completion of the course, graduates will be able to :

- Organize a legal watch
- Writing a legal summary
- Analyze a situation involving a legal problem and suggest possible solutions
- Formulating a legal argument
- Explain and make accessible a point of law
- Translate a complex legal problem into simple language

- Define supply requirements
- Issue a call for tenders, analyze responses
- Drawing up specifications
- Identify suppliers, subcontractors and service providers
Graduates are autonomous in the organization of their work and responsible. They are also able to synthesize and analyze information. They know how to work as part of a team.

To meet the needs of professionals who take the course in parallel with their work, UE 1 (theoretical courses mainly attended by this group) is taught on two consecutive days. All students (FI, FA, FC) follow a year-round sandwich course, with one week at the University and one week in a host organization for apprentices.
