Presentation
The Professional Degree Industrial trades: mechatronics and robotics at the Bourges IUT:
The aim of the Robotics ROB. course is to train senior technicians involved in the robotization of industries and companies.
All aspects of robotics are taught: Mechanics, Computing, Electronics and Automation.
Training is delivered using digital tools, both face-to-face and remotely. Classes are held independently, with pedagogical coaching via network tools (videos, Moodle, Mooc). Tutorial work is carried out remotely, in direct interaction with a teacher, using virtual classrooms (Classilio Via). Practical work takes place either on CNAM or Université d'Orléans premises, or directly on the premises of robot integrators (such as UR and Staubli).
Skills
On completion of this course, you will have a dual skill set:
- your initial skills as a technician specialized in electronics, IT or mechanics,
- your skills as a senior technician in ALL aspects of robotics.
You'll act as the link between your company's needs and the robot integrator, defining requirements and selecting proposed solutions.
You'll oversee the installation and fine-tuning of robotic cells.
You'll be responsible for hardware and software maintenance, and may make minor adaptations during the robot's lifetime.
