Presentation
The aim of the Master's degree in Public Law is to provide in-depth knowledge of the public sector, mainly in public law, but also in related subjects, enabling the training of administrators in certain areas affecting the work of local authorities: housing policy, local cultural policy, local authority communications, local authority management.
The Master of Public Law is based on a Master 1 comprising general courses common to the various options in the field, and for the MAP option, communication and history courses shared with the UFR Lettres, Langues et Sciences humaines.
The MAP pathway leads to jobs as communications advisors to local elected representatives, parliamentary attachés, cabinet positions, and communications managers in companies, public bodies or associations.
The 1st year of the Master's program can be taken as an initial or continuing training course; the second year can be taken as an initial training course, an apprenticeship or a continuing training course.

Organization
Knowledge control
Teaching units are assessed by continuous assessment and/or written and oral final exams. They are definitively acquired once the student has obtained an average grade, and are assigned a coefficient and European credits. Compensations are made over the semester on the basis of the overall average of grades obtained in the various teaching units, weighted by coefficients. Two assessment sessions are organized for each semester.
