Three career paths and shared strengths
The Master's in History at Orléans is supported by two research laboratories(IRAMAT and POLEN) and has forged national and regional partnerships (with the Louvre, the DEG Faculty, the Loiret Departmental Archives, CERCIL, the BnF Coins, Medals and Antiques Department, the Orléans Mediatheque, Rendez-vous de l'Histoire de Blois and IRHT ), enabling it to offer three distinct courses built around a common core.
MéPoCS (Memories, Powers, Cultures and Societies) pathway
It offers in-depth training through research and in research, open to different periods and new scientific developments, with a 2-year research dissertation and possibly a complementary internship in archives, laboratories or heritage and cultural institutions.
Prepares students for careers in research, investigation (journalism, historical expertise) and teaching. Graduates of this Master's program have gone on to enter selective professional Master's programs in conservation.
