The Master - Management des Systèmes d'Information (MSI) Data Sciences et Stratégie program at IAE Orléans - University School of Management aims to train consulting professionals in the fields of information systems and data sciences. The program enables students to acquire cross-disciplinary knowledge in business management, as well as technical and methodological skills for processing information in a database, network and enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment.

Technical and methodological skills and competencies acquired :

- to process management information and model it for decision-making purposes, in a database, network and ERP environment,

- to transform and integrate management information systems,

- to design and model steering, performance management and decision-making tools,

- to put into perspective the knowledge and know-how acquired during training, based on observation in the field, and to deal scientifically with a concrete management problem in the field of information systems (constructing well-founded hypotheses, keeping abreast of scientific advances in the field, etc.).

Knowledge control

Teaching units are assessed by continuous assessment and/or written and oral final exams. They are definitively acquired once the student has obtained an average grade, and are assigned a coefficient and European credits. Compensations are made over the semester on the basis of the overall average of grades obtained in the various teaching units, weighted by coefficients. Two assessment sessions are organized for each semester.

Admission requirements

Access to M1 :

This course is open to students holding generalist bachelor's degrees with sufficient teaching in management and business administration. Thus, the profile of graduates in Management Sciences (whatever their ″coloration″, marketing or accounting/finance or human resources, etc.), as well as the profile of graduates in Economic Sciences or Economic and Social Administration are the preferred targets for integrating the training.

Admission to M2 :

By right for students from the University of Orléans who have completed the M1 Management of Information Systems.

Students from other Masters programs are admitted on the basis of an application and an interview with the teaching committee.
The course is also open to continuing education students.
