The Master STAPS AMVSL course trains executives with dual skills in the development/management of sports and leisure facilities on the one hand, and their development through events on the other. The aim of this Master's degree is to train multi-skilled professionals capable of grasping and operationalizing the issues at stake in the interface between the design, construction and operation of these spaces, and their enhancement through a range of event services of all kinds for all audiences: sporting events and challenges; trade shows (residential seminars, exhibitions, corporate conventions, privatization of spaces); cultural and sports marketing (street marketing, product launches); etc.
Skills
Holders of the AMVSL Master's degree design, implement and evaluate:
- the strategic and operational management of sports projects (engineering, events, development of sports practices, etc.).)
- the development, management and enhancement of ephemeral or residential sports and leisure facilities
- the development, programming, financing and implementation of sports facilities and events
- the management of cultural and sports projects
- the definition of strategic orientations for organizations linked to sport and leisure
- the direction and management of salaried and volunteer teams
- the enhancement of partnerships and the actions of stakeholders in the sports project.

Special features
The course is run on a regulated flow basis: 20 students maximum in M1, 15 students maximum in M2.
Program
Initial training (M1):
- 404 teaching hours, with a majority of applied courses
- 9 weeks minimum to 6 months maximum, from early March to late August.
In apprenticeship training (M2):
- 401h of teaching "over periods of 2 months and 6 months in a company" to be specified
- Involvement of numerous professionals, partners in the program, in M1 and M2
Teaching focuses on imparting knowledge in various fields:
- programming, design and implementation of
sports and leisure facilities,
- management of sports facilities and promotion through events,
- applied accounting and financial management,
- sports organization strategies,
- strategic and operational project management.
Admission
Admission requirements
Master 1
The AMVSL Master's program is open to holders of a STAPS bachelor's degree or an equivalent diploma at bac + 3 level (Geography, Spatial Planning, History, Management Sciences, Economics, LEA, etc.), subject in all cases to acceptance of their application file, and a possible interview, by the Pedagogical Commission. The M1 and M2 programs are also open to VAE/VAP students and high-level sportsmen and women, or those undergoing retraining, subject to acceptance of their application file, and a possible interview, by the Pedagogical Commission.
